This week we have a break from our Reading Street Program to focus on our Caterpillars and their life cycle changes! It has been truly amazing to watch their transformation before our very own eyes! Each day we have taken a picture and recorded our observations as junior entomologists in our classroom. The children have really invested in the observations and changes that have taken place in this last week! We will focus on writing a diary entry through the eyes of a caterpillar,in each stage of development, and what it must go through to complete the process of metamorphosis.
HOMEWORK: Different packet with only high frequency words to practice at home in addition to your reading log. :)
COMMUNITY MEETING: Wednesday of this week ( March 23rd) we are meeting as a school community to celebrate our Reading Fundraiser and watch Mr. Cateon follow through on his promise to color his hair! Red, white, and blue are the colors he'll do! Stay tuned... I'll be sure to take a picture and post it here for you to see!
NO SCHOOL : Friday, March 25th. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your family and look forward to seeing all those bright eyed and bushy tailed kiddos walk through our classroom door Monday morning.
